Election Night 2020

Find 2020 Election Night Results Here

November 3, 2020

It's November 3rd, and we all know what that means by now: the US election is underway. Over 80 million Americans voted early, but official tallying won't begin until polls start closing today. Wondering where to watch election coverage? We've got you covered.

Streamer's Spotlight: Top Spots to Watch 2020 Election Coverage

Many of us will be up late into the night watching election results. And while it's more likely than not that we won't even know the results for weeks due to the historic amount of mail-in ballots this year, nobody needs to rely on cable TV to watch uninterrupted election night coverage this year. Here are a few of the cable-free options you can turn to this for the 2020 election.

Every Major Cable News Network

As happens every election cycle, every major cable news network will have election night coverage. If you're bound to a certain network's coverage (FOX News, MSNBC, CNN, etc.), you can get any one of these channels without cable this year. Here's where you can find each one without cable TV:

We probably don't need to tell you to expect varying types of coverage across each network. Some will strictly stick covering election results, others will fill in the gaps with predictions and other types of election-adjacent coverage.

Additional note:

Many of these channels will also be broadcasting the same election results content live on their YouTube channels.

Cable News Network Alternatives

Not vibing with cable news networks for election night coverage? Not a problem. There will be plenty of alternative options you can use that you can be sure won't editorialize the results.

Before you start kvetching over the above: These are just the election results pages that report strict numbers. There's no editorializing on the results pages for these sites. So if you're just in it for the live data without commentary, these pages will update automatically and you can use them to check in on the numbers without the talking heads trying to interpret the results for you.

  Just Use Google

Google 'ol Google will be scraping and displaying the data, as well. A simple Google search for "2020 election results" will get you the numbers right in your Google results.

It's going to be a long night. Make sure to hug your loved ones, do something fun, and keep the stress levels low, regardless of who wins.
