1. Sling TV's EPIX Fail: Sling Drops EPIX from Grandfathered Hollywood Extra Add-on

If you've had Sling TV's Hollywood Extra add-on package, we've got some bad news for you.

has apparently dropped EPIX from the add-on subscription for those who had it grandfathered in. You can, however, still get EPIX through Sling TV, but you'll need to purchase the $5/month EPIX add-on subscription package to get it. -

2. Hulu Just Got More Expensive...and Cheaper. At the Same Time

Hulu announced a few price changes this week that went both up and down. Live TV will now be $44.99/month with ads, and $50.99/month without ads. However, there's good news for those who want to subscribe to Hulu's on-demand service. The price dropped $5.99/month with limited ads. -

3. Philo Gets More Musical With MTV Classic Added to Lineup

DirecTV Now's lackluster, 20-hour cloud DVR is currently the worst on the market among streaming TV services. However, last week in a press release, AT&T (DirecTV Now's parent company) confirmed an "expansion" to their DVR is coming in 2019. -
