1.DirecTV Now Is Set to Raise Prices, Reduce Channel Options

In a move that's sure to be controversial for current subscribers, DirecTV Now plans to follow through on earlier-stated plans to "thin out" its channel packages and increase prices. The new base price will be $50 for a 40-channel package, and $60 for a 50-channel package, which means fewer channels for a greater price than what the service currently offers. -
