Cord-Cutting Tip of the Week:

Supplement Your Needs With Free (LEGAL) IPTV

IPTV is a bit of a dirty word in cord-cutting. Primarily, when someone says "IPTV", they're talking about the plethora of services that offer free or cheap access to pirated live TV streams. However, there are two legal IPTV services that you should strongly consider making a part of your regular TV line-up:

and

.

1. What are Xumo and PlutoTV?

From a high level, PlutoTV and Xumo are IPTV services. However, they're free, legal options that offer live TV across a large number of genres. Both are ad-supported and are supported by a large number of major media services.

2. What Channels Do Xumo and PlutoTV Offer?

Both services provide over 100 live TV streaming channels covering news, music, sports, and entertainment. Xumo, for example, carries major news channels such as Cheddar, CBS News, Law & Crime and Bloomberg. PlutoTV provides a similar new lineup, and includes access to content from major sports channels like Fox Sports and the NFL Channel, which offers compressed NFL replays. Overall, you'll get more content than you're likely to know what to do with between the two services.

3. Why Would I Use These Services?

Both are free, making them at least worth exploring. Further still, both channels offer a significant amount of content that you won't find anywhere else. Specialized 24/7 channels for everything from comedy to sci-fi movies are available.

4. Are There Supported Apps?

Both PlutoTV and Xumo have a wide range of apps for popular devices. We recommend giving both services a whirl. Chances are good that you'll find a few channels you love.
