1. Disney Offers More Details About Its Netflix-Killing Streaming Service
By all accounts, Disney+, the new streaming service from Disney, is likely to cause a huge headache for Netflix. On the announcement of its price -- $6.99 per month -- Netflix shares took a tumble, while Disney shares were up. Disney+ stands a good chance of eating heavily into Netflix profit as some cord-cutters may start choosing one service over the other.-
2. YouTube TV Is Getting a Painful Price Increase
Say goodbye to the good days. YouTube TV's price will be increasing from $40 per month to $49.99 per month, a $10 increase. Meanwhile, if you're getting the service through Apple, sorry to say, but you'll pay even more: $54.99 per month.
